When applying, please be sure to complete the entire application. Your resume is important to see, but it does not complete it. Also, be sure to read all questions carefully and answer appropriately. Effective March 1, 2014, in support of our effort to improve the overall health of our workforce while reducing our healthcare benefit costs, Culpeper Regional Hospital will no longer hire individuals who use tobacco or nicotine products in any form. Effective March 1, 2014, all individuals who are offered a position with Culpeper Regional Hospital will be screened for tobacco/nicotine use as part of the pre-employment screening process. Positive results will lead to withdrawal of the job offer.
If you are denied employment due to a positive nicotine test, you are encouraged to take steps to stop the use of tobacco/nicotine products and re-apply for open positions after a period of six (6) months. Tobacco/nicotine products include, but are not limited to cigarettes, cigars, pipes, chewing tobacco, snuff products, electronic devices such as electronic cigarettes, nicotine patches and nicotine gum.
